FNF NewJeans brings the K-pop style of NewJeans into the familiar rhythm battles of Friday Night Funkin’. Built around the V-Slice format, the mod keeps the focus on reading incoming notes, matching their directions, and staying on beat through each song.

In FNF NewJeans, notes move toward the receptors at the top of the screen, and your job is to hit the correct direction at the right moment. Accurate inputs help maintain your position on the health bar, while repeated misses can eventually end the song. The charts are not simply about pressing keys as quickly as possible.

Changes in rhythm, longer notes, and denser patterns require you to pay attention to the flow of the track. Hold notes are particularly important because releasing them too early can cost accuracy. FNF NewJeans combines FNF's recognizable 2D style with a K-pop-inspired visual direction. Character performances and stage scenes accompany the songs, keeping the presentation connected to the music.
